10 Huge AEW Full Gear Predictions You Need To Know

8. SCU Vs. Lucha Bros. Vs. Private Party - AEW World Championship Match

Kenny Omega
James Musselwhite/AEW

The rules will not be enforced.

All six men will get their sh*t in, and if they don't have enough in the tank, they will not last. Expect duelling chants across the commentary booth and the arena of "The referee needs to get his sh*t together!" and "Holy sh*t!"

Fénix is operating in Best in the World form, and the prospect of what he'll do on those ropes - with four men to dance around - is jaw-dropping. Expect Canadian piledrivers on the apron. A preposterous number of dives and head drops. A cauldron arena split between their emotional connection to SCU and the crowd-pleasing arsenals of their more spectacular opponents. 12-15 minutes of non-stop exhilaration as JR seethes, Excalibur screams, and Tony Schiavone purrs in his endearing role as the cool dad.

Private Party won't win; they are phenomenal but green, and their act requires both polish and a feel-good, long-term arc. SCU are the likeliest winners, but there's potential narrative ground to cover through the injury to Christopher Daniels. A title loss here could prove interesting to the complexion of the unit going forward, resulting perhaps in a Scorpio Sky singles run and a stirring, Daniels-led chase.

PREDICTION: Lucha Bros.
