10 Huge AEW Revolution Predictions You Need To Know

6. Women's World Title: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander Nyla Rose
AEW

This match could definitely have benefitted from a longer build. There was nothing from either Rose or Statlander on the go-home show, with a trio of contenders working a four-way in their absence. A shame, but at least the bout makes sense through AEW's win/loss framework, with Kris' three-match winning streak justifying her position.

Statlander and Rose first interacted two weeks ago, when 'The Galaxy's Greatest Alien' interrupted 'The Native Beast's' promo. Big Swole was also involved but quickly dropped out of the picture. From an in-ring standpoint, we're left with perhaps AEW's best possible option at the moment as two exciting, powerful athletes throw big bombs at each other for 10-15 minutes, though the outcome is in little doubt.

There's no chance in hell AEW has Rose drop the belt in her very first defence. Nyla is being set up for a long, dominant reign on top and while Statlander is someone AEW is going to invest in, this isn't her time. She's great today, sure, but she still has work to do before becoming a viable champion. Give her time.

Winner: Nyla Rose.
