10 HUGE ALL IN Predictions You Need To Know

It has always all been about Cody.

In both storylines and reality, this entire event was borne out of yet another demon the 'Grandson Of A Plumber' had to exorcise. When he made his list of dream matches following an unexpected WWE exit in 2018, he perhaps envisioned a period in which he could be the darling of the independent scene. The doyen and impresario of it though? That emerged when he brilliantly found a way to live the gimmick.

After dwelling on just how to go even bigger than he'd gone in his quest for the respect of the wider wrestling audience and himself, some gentle patter with The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer triggered the idea that would become ALL IN. 10,000 tickets being sold created the buzz, but creating the buzz was something Cody cracked the second he put pen to paper on his original leavers list. Following up remains of curious concern.

A match against NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis has been wonderfully chronicled on YouTube series 10 Pounds Of Gold, and has for the first time made Billy Corgan's purchase of the brand not seem quite so wild. Cody may have loathed StarDust, but he's found a way to sprinkle it on everybody he comes into contact with.

It's always been about Cody. He was ALL IN on all of this before anybody else. And it's why - with the shocking appearance Flip Gordon against his longstanding wishes - he cannot leave Chicago with the strap.
