10 HUGE Predictions For WWE Crown Jewel 2021

9. Goldberg Vs. Bobby Lashley

The jokes are so obvious that they'll be writing themselves elsewhere, but not even Crown Jewel is an acceptable destination for WWE to be promoting an actual death in one of their headline attractions. Not least when one of the behemoths involved has come pretty close to doing some significant damage to other wrestlers in the same location over the past few years.

Dave Meltzer once quipped that Vince McMahon had forgotten how to ride a bike, and it's matches like this in 2021 that bear that out. Lashley winning doesn't seem in much doubt, but the result shouldn't really matter. Just look at these two! Monsters the pair of them, with The Hurt Business reformed and rejuvenated in order to take the bulk of the big bumps so Bobby Lashley's not put in danger when Goldberg wobbles on a jackhammer.

And yet, the bulk of this is to do with Big Bill's threats to murder his rival for getting young Gage Goldberg involved. The babyface won't make good on that, the heel will win, and will either man even appear as they're supposed to on the night? Basics made utterly impossible by the organisation that used to be the best at it.

Winner - Bobby Lashley
