10 HUGE Predictions For WWE Crown Jewel 2021

4. Zelina Vega Vs. Doudrop

Zelina Vega broke a cardinal rule on the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw, but it wasn't anything to do with trying on the Queen's Crown following Doudrop's advancement over Shayna Baszler.

She looked happy.

Once an awesome component of an awesome act, Vega was let go for sh*tty reasons in 2020 and came back under similarly auspicious ones several months later. In what's scanned as a petty dues paying exercise, she's entered into this single elimination tournament with an otherwise pathetic record and has presumably only won up to this point so that she can lose to somebody who's just started saying "YAAAAAAAAAS" without the word after that typically follows.

If it wasn't for the hideous optics, WWE could crow about having more women's matches on a Saudi Arabian pay-per-view than a typical episode of AEW Dynamite, but putting over that might scan as putting over this atrociously-handled and presented tournament.

Given 10 minutes, this might feel prestigious. But what about every other contest thus far makes that seem remotely realistic?

Winner - Doudrop
