8. What Are Vince’s “Strategic Alternatives”?
During her farewell tweet, Steph noted that Vince would be returning "as Executive Chair and leading an exciting process regarding strategic alternatives". At face value, this means McMahon is back in the saddle leading the company charge and plans to rejig some key components behind the scenes in early-2023.
What does that mean though? To what extent with Vince make changes? None of that was made crystal clear in Stephanie's statement before she signed off with a quite contrasting, "Then. Now. Forever. Together." soundbite. Everything remains cloudy in terms of exactly which "strategic alternatives" the Vin-man has in mind.
Fans will have to wait to find out.
One thing's for certain: The McMahon patriarch will try to re-establish control over WWE's landscape by changing something. Whether or not that's for the better remains to be seen though, and countless supporters out there continue praying that he won't go back to fiddling around with an improving on-screen product.
