10 Huge WWE & AEW Matches Still To Come In 2020

Excluding their brawl as the final two in this year's Women's Elimination Chamber, Shayna Baszler and Asuka have never gone one-on-one in a conventional singles match.

This isn't surprising really, given they are two of the most popular, badass and protected competitors, regardless of gender, in the WWE. It's reasonable that the company would save this contest for a big occasion... like the 3 March episode of Monday Night RAW! Fortunately, that was cancelled due to an unfortunate, supposed injury to Asuka's wrist.

In an interview with SportsBible back in July, Asuka welcomed the idea of facing the 'Queen of Spades' in a "big event."

The current RAW Women's Champion has said: "Shayna is a very tough wrestler and is quite skilled. We are very similar in the way we perform, with our submissions and she would definitely be a tough opponent."
