WWE did an admirable job of spotting when this story needed fleshing out and adding an extremely fun detail.

After a real-sport-feel press conference convinced enough people that Logan Paul would do just fine for a novelty Crown Jewel opponent for Roman Reigns, regular WWE television appearances by Paul curated the polar opposite. He'd over-delivered in his first two matches, but who the f*ck was he really - really - when it came to 'The Tribal Chief'?

A guy with punching power and a metal fist. Asked and answered.

Paul Heyman is legitimately concerned and brave enough to bring Brock Lesnar's name up just so Reigns doesn't overlook the puncher's chance. Jey Uso has felt the wrath of it and been left laying. Sami Zayn has history with Paul and has, from a distance, also advised that the champion proceed with caution.

He won't listen to their counsel of course, and will be felled by the shot even if it won't ultimately mean glory for the YouTube star. He'll be too gassed to capitalise on his big moment, and somebody else's music will hit as both men lay prone...
