10 HUGE WWE Crown Jewel 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

...but doesn't leave with the belt.

It's been clear since Triple H took over in WWE that Austin Theory isn't really his guy, even if the current Money In The Bank winner has still featured on television. A stunt cast on the NXT Halloween Havoc go-home show was the last straw - why on earth would a man with WWE's golden ticket even consider lifting their developmental title?

It was a rotten look, and indicative of the eventual restart Theory will need when the dust has settled. He entered in a very credible effort opposite Seth Rollins on the Crown Jewel go-home, and maybe that will prove to have been some foreshadowing. Mimicking Rollins at WrestleMania 31, he'll attempt his own "heist of the century" after Logan Paul hits his big robot punch on 'The Tribal Chief', fall short, and finally fall out of contention.

He'll eat the pin too, in order to save a Reigns/Paul match for another day and complete something of a back-to-square-one arc for his career. He's got plenty of time to do it all again when he might look more like the guy to go with.
