History will be made for the second time in as many months as the best of the Raw Women's Division not already on the road to WrestleMania take on one other in the division's first ever Elimination Chamber.

There are several side-stories the company can pay attention to to flesh out the notoriously quiet portions of the slightly flawed concept (more on those later), but arguably the most important part of the match is where it appears on the card.

Much like how vital it was that the female Royal Rumble went on as a show-closing spectacle, the women's Chamber should instead raise the curtain on the February pay-per-view. Given distance from the hugely dramatic men's match, Alexa Bliss' title defence will be given breathing room from the 'Big Dog's blockbuster and benefit from a red hot crowd.

As well as Asuka's clash with Nia Jax, the state of the division at WrestleMania could also be dependent on whatever Ronda Rousey gets up to in her official contract signing. The state of the Championship itself deserves all the initial spotlight, especially as the Road To WrestleMania gets clearer as the night progresses.
