10 HUGE WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

2. No Love Lost?

Elimination Chamber Otis Mandy Rose
WWE

The Otis/Mandy Rose storyline has chugged along nicely since his Valentines Day heartbreak at the hands of the Fire & Desire star's maybe/maybe not date with Dolph Ziggler got in the way of his romantic plans.

The heat isn't precisely where it had been before the first reveal, but SmackDown has played it uncharacteristically coy with apportioning blame for the miscommunication that left him heartbroken. He was late to his date because Rose sent him a text, see, only we know that Mandy didn't send the text. Insert shocked face emoji from the Fox Twitter account and revived intrigue in the angle.

Was it Tucker, angry that he might lose his friend to a girl he'd long assumed not in his league? Could it have been Sonya Deville, angry that she might lose her friend to guy she'd long assumed not in her league? Could it have been either due to romantic interest of their own in Rose? Maybe she was lying about the text stuff, realising that Otis might have actually smartened up and started watching SmackDown to see the events of his own life.

Here's the thing - there's a small chance they forget to pay this off at WrestleMania and a greater one it gets callously blown off on television when people give a sh*t. If ever a show needed added value it was Elimination Chamber, and this angle is one of their most valuable assets.
