10 HUGE WWE Fastlane 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

6. Something Else

To use a Meltzerism, the Fastlane card looks a lot lighter than other recent WWE shows (particularly considering the pay-per-minutes viewed bonuses the Network execs allegedly trouser), and though there's absolutely nothing wrong with wrapping things up more succinctly, it's no longer company policy.

Expect dreaded "bonus" matches to come from the depths or the Raw or SmackDown Live midcards to pad out a show that otherwise looks clean for being lean. Perhaps Natalya and some friends will lose to The Riott Squad or the underwhelming Rusev/Shinsuke Nakamura pairing can pick up another pointless win?

But what if?

What if this space remains free for Buddy Murphy to finally be given the opportunity to exhibit his incredible skills in front of a pay-per-view audience ahead of a likely loss on the WrestleMania pre-show? What if Mustafa Ali's go-home show return is paid off by a blinding brief encounter with another performer from SmackDown's rich array of singles stars? What if Samoa Joe kicks off his United States Championship reign with a pre-Mania banger just for the sake of stating his intentions with the title.

What if?
