What can Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella, The Miz and Maryse do to one another than hasn't already featured in the weeks they've been feuding since SummerSlam?

The mixed tag element has marginally improved the underwhelming programme between the pair, but a huge brawl won by the babyfaces on the go-home edition of SmackDown Live didn't leave much left for the quartet to try on the pay-per-view stage. Even Brie debuted her green and blue matching attire several days early - perhaps marriage really does take away much of the surprise.

It's hard to look beyond the bigger picture that is WWE's near-future, and with Bryan and Miz set to do battle yet again in a Number One Contender's match at Super Show-Down, the stage seems set for Brie to beat Maryse to set up the rubber match Miz will deem completely unjustified. There are more creatively satisfying outcomes to be found in a heel victory, but WWE may not want to risk freezing Bryan out completely after leaning so hard on his self-doubt after the 'Biggest Party Of The Summer'.
