‘The Great One’ hasn’t even been advertised for Raw 25, but this seems very much by design in the vein of his and Steve Austin’s crashing of Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania XXX opening spiel.

All over video packages talking about being ‘back’ and ‘home’ in his 2011 return monologues, ‘The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment’ was last seen on Raw when the cameras STOPPED rolling. His Los Angeles post-show appearance was ostensibly to keep the fans heated for their unexpected participation in the movie of Paige’s life he’s currently working on the production team for, but he ended up stealing the spotlight for giving CM Punk a call half way through his promo.

Imagine if this scene was replayed, but the ‘Voice Of The Voiceless’ was heard not through Rock’s iPhone speaker but the house microphone in Brooklyn.

Unlikely? Yes. Impossible? No. What’s going to happen? Almost certainly not. Rock’ll rub the goosebumps on his arm for five minutes, call a midcarder ‘Tittybiscuits’ or something then be on his way. But what a Punk Rock show it would be...
