10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

3. Asuka Vs. Becky Lynch

Finn Balor, Demon Balor
WWE

Asuka's SmackDown Women's Championship reign has thus far only been defined by the former champion - Becky Lynch's defeat was the story when 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' climbed the ladder at December's Tables, Ladders and Chairs, and 'The Man's never-ending war with Charlotte Flair has overawed any chance Asuka's had of fighting her way back into her own storyline.

The match, however, could and should still be sensational. The pair are two of the best wrestlers in the organisation and - as a singles combination at least - remain relatively fresh. A clean win for either feels too damaging to the loser, so WWE should actually benefit from shortcut booking here.

WWE's dovetailing technique with the women's divisions could again be deployed here, particularly if Charlotte Flair's Royal Rumble win is already done and dusted. A brawl between her and Ronda Rousey spilling from backstage out to the ring could suddenly involve Becky and allow the match to collapse under the fury of the four biggest stars in the division.

Winner - Becky Lynch (Asuka keeps the Title)
