10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

4. Daniel Bryan Vs. AJ Styles

Daniel Bryan won this programme the night he turned heel to win AJ Styles' WWE Championship - he's advanced so far beyond the 'Phenomenal One' at this point that the only task at hand here is to somehow create a sense of tension around the actual result.

'The Real Daniel Bryan' is a credit to anybody within the organisation that's been involved with the character. Though it'd show a little too much bias to compliment Bryan alone for the gimmick, the only author's hand felt during his tete-a-tete with Vince McMahon and Styles on the SmackDown Live go-home show was in how he was positioned as the heel despite his anti-baby boomers cry hitting home for the bulk of the fanbase. That - much like the bodged David and Goliath re-telling on Raw - was peak McMahon.

Two of the best wrestlers in the company should have no problem assembling a mini-masterpiece on Sunday, though much like every wrestler than enters the Royal Rumble match, fans may already have one eye on the big WrestleMania sign looming over the pair as they do battle. Surely Bryan has to walk into Metlife Stadium still holding gold?

Winner - Daniel Bryan
