10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

7. Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Bobby Lashley

The build towards a total dream match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley didn’t exactly inspire confidence that WWE could see the whole thing through to a natural and satisfying conclusion.

The whole thing got a little…busy. Between the renewal of Lesnar and Paul Heyman’s relationship to the former Hurt Business imploding (again) as something for Lashley to do and then Big Banter Brock’s unconvincing - and frankly not believable - negging of his challenger, the choice not to do the simplest sh*t possible between the two has rendered an otherwise-awesome prospect feel a little redundant.

It's developments elsewhere that perhaps revealed the finish. Roman Reigns' errant meddling resulted in The Usos being unable to help him defending against Seth Rollins. They're not banned from robbing Brock Lesnar though, and with lots of lingering payoffs still kicking around from the cancelled Day 1 bout, this may be the perfect chance to get back to it and return 'The All-Mighty' to the top of the Raw tree.

Winner - Bobby Lashley
