10 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

8. Apollo Crews (c) Vs. MVP

We're past the point now where we need to stop and put MVP over for turning a Royal Rumble cameo into a three year contract thanks to just how starved WWE for good talkers in an era dominated by wrestlers they've trained to speak. Not least because the content of his work is mostly bullsh*t despite the quality delivery.

The Hurt Business is "booming" apparently, despite Shelton Benjamin routinely playing hot potato with a joke belt and Bobby Lashley not making it onto SummerSlam having already lost the biggest available match on the brand last month.

To give Porter's verbiage a bit of credit, let's assume he's actually just a total philistine getting away with blinding his buddies with bluster. Maybe that's the point of all this, and they're only losing because he's a bullsh*t merchant more than a born leader. All fine, if he hadn't won enough matches to get this one last shot at Apollo Crews.

Can't forget to mention the Champion, even if he's the most forgettable aspect of the storyline. He'll get through this challenge, if only to fall to a Full Lashley seven days later.

Winner - Apollo Crews
