10 HUGE WWE SummerSlam 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

7. Bayley (c) Vs. Asuka

WWE subverted expectations by having Bayley condescendingly tell Sasha Banks that she'd take the first match to soften 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' up for 'The Boss'.

Instead of having the SmackDown Women's Champion pick up the scraps, she'll get a full plate, and what a feast that'll subsequently be on a show that looks a little light on earnestly great wrestling.

Four years ago, there would have been much rejoicing at the prospect of seeing a bona fide NXT classic repeated on the main roster stage.

At TakeOver: Dallas and Brooklyn II, Bayley and Asuka presented two of the best women's matches in the history of the company and with countless competitors ever since they still hold up. The challenge will not just be to try and live up to those expectations, but to do so with so much booking to wade through en route.

But they're amazing, and they'll do it. It just won't be this belt Asuka wins. She'll have Bayley all but beat before ultimately falling short as a result of Banks' providing a distraction on the floor. Luckily she'll come good just minutes later...

Winner - Bayley
