5. Dominik Mysterio Vs. Seth Rollins

Might this wild story get credible right at the bitter end?

Seth Rollins reckons none of us have the patience for longterm storytelling anymore, and while that's patently b*llocks, what he was probably begging for in the subtext of that remark was for people to be as invested in this lengthy programme with the Mysterio boys as he is.

Coming when he needed it most, the heat segment that saw the 'Monday Night Messiah' and his sidekick Murphy batter f*ck out of Dominik Mysterio with kendo sticks was just the right amount of visible violence to get this back on a serious track away from the eye extractions of the recent past.

It was a real horror show in contrast to the pantomime pay-per-view one, and brought out a rage from both Father and Son in a go-home angle that set the table quite nicely for what should be a pretty good smoke-and-mirrors debut for Jr Jr.

Rollins gets the win, but he'll be made to work for it a little bit. It won't be the best pro wrestling on the planet, period. But it'll be better than it has any right to be.

Winner - Seth Rollins
