10 HUGE WWE Super Show-Down Predictions You Need To Know

8. Daniel Bryan Vs. The Miz

It has to be now.

WWE can go in two drastically different directions with this match, and either way offers an intriguing arc for Daniel Bryan to finally sink his teeth into, but it has to be now.

Option A) The Miz cheats to beat Daniel Bryan again. He gloats on SmackDown Live that he’ll never give Bryan a match ever again, then wins the WWE Championship with his shot to further freeze the ‘YES! Man’ out of anything meaningful going forward...until Bryan wins the Royal Rumble and locks in a shot at WrestleMania 35.

Option B) Daniel Bryan cleanly defeats The Miz in their best match of the year, finally and conclusively slaying the mouthy little snap-dragon that has done more to break him emotionally than he was ever capable of doing physically. From here Bryan moves forward into one of two dream matches (erk...) against the winner of the WWE Championship match later in the night.

Both have conditional appeal, but it’s at this point that the company don’t get a chance to put any more wonky footsteps wrong. Option A) or B) would perfectly patch this storyline back up at the last. But it has to be the last.

And it has to be now.
