10 HUGE WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

9. The New Day (c) Vs. The Miz & John Morrison

John Morrison's comeback has remarkably managed to tell the truth of his successes during an original run that flattered to deceive.

In the barren mid-2000s, Morrison was a promising prospect that never truly inspired bookers to go all in on his bizarre skillset. A long WWE absence made some hearts grow so fond that his legacy grew to mythically absurd proportions - an accidental representative of the era from which he emerged, Morrison was permanently appraised as a Ruthless Aggression misfire.

With no fainter praise to damn him with, he returned and almost immediately proved it. His Starship Pain remains ineffective to a daft extreme but is now pinning men that have advanced the genre since he parkoured out the door a decade ago. Perhaps mindful of how fast the fun of his return would fall, WWE immediately reformed the well-loved Miz and Morrison duo on the off chance that they wouldn't get a chance to if they waited too long.

The pair could win and carry the belts on legacy alone. They don't feel like the matter a jot on SmackDown, but then neither do the existing champions. It feels anything but a New Day on SmackDown at present, but why make the change here if you can dress one up as a WrestleMania Moment (TM) in a month?
