A creative match sprung forth from a creative era, this was a less hokey version of the Casket match and a far less tedious version of it, too; the blood feud stakes behind the programme and the crazed hardcore stylings of the Tag Team Title challengers converged to create chaos for a stupendously fun 10 minutes.

The sturdier "goal" allowed for some brutal spots, with Cactus Jack sandwiching Road Dogg's head between the back of the dumpster and his running knee. But, Foley being Foley, he willingly absorbed stiff baking tray shots to his already scrambled brain almost seconds later. Road Dogg can't even follow formula correctly as a dire, dire TV writer in 2018 - but 20 years prior, he was quite inventive in his capacity as a performer, cracking Jack's cranium against the dumpster with a sick Russian leg sweep. Substituting stiffness for speed, the four men worked around Terry Funk, whose awesome, timeless staggering selling was used to create a maverick spot in which he stumbled into a ladder, sending Jack and Billy Gunn hurtling into the dumpster.

A new genre of match boasting an old-school Dusty finish, at his brief creative apex, Vince Russo really did both "get" and evolve the medium.
