10 Hyped Wrestling Rematches That Sucked

2. Seth Rollins Vs. The ‘Fiend’

Where: WWE Crown Jewel 2019

Why It Sucked: Bold promises were made following the infamously rotten conclusion to Hell In A Cell 2019. WWE kinda' put a hand up, admitted the non-finish to Seth Rollins vs. The 'Fiend' sucked hard and promised to make up for things at Crown Jewel the next month by tacking on an almost-laughable 'Match Cannot Be Stopped For Any Reason' stipulation.

Bray Wyatt and Seth must've been rolling their eyes.

They'd been booked into a corner at HIAC, and they were always going to feel the grind in Saudi Arabia. Fans hardly considered Crown Jewel a top pay-per-view for a start, and Wyatt's all-too-familiar red lighting made the brawl more cinematic than anything else - it was hard to see at times, although maybe not as hard as it had been inside the cage.

Perhaps the only saving grace here was that Bray's alter ego won and didn't have to suffer the indignity of another visual defeat (which HIAC had been). Still, the match wasn't good, and the feud seemed like a nightmare fans would never wake up from.
