10 Hyped WWE Debuts That Were CANCELLED
3. Justin Bieber
For those who enjoyed John Cena's ruthless burial of the Wyatt Family throughout 2014, an additional chapter of credibility-killing mayhem was once in store for the future Fiend and co.
SummerSlam 2014's acclaimed main event between John Cena and Brock Lesnar likely wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Daniel Bryan's injury earlier that year. The then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion was initially pencilled in for the brutal Lesnar squash with Cena having some fun in the mid-card. However, with 'The Leader of the Yes Movement' going down with neck and nerve issues, the vacated titles were quickly moved over to the future Peacemaker.
For Justin Bieber, who was still largely at the peak of his celebrity powers at the time, a team-up with John Cena and the Big Show was on the table. Their opponents would've been the Wyatt Family who, hilariously, would've lost the match. It would've then been 'The Leader of the Cenation' who got to do the honours of whooping Bieber, something most members of the WWE faithful over 12 likely would've gotten a good laugh out of.
One can only hope that WWE would not have had Bieber pick up the win for his team. Then again, we live in the unfortunate timeline where Kevin Federline has a pinfall win over John Cena, so all bets would have been off.
