10 Iconic Sounds In Wrestling

2. The Clang Of A Bedpan On Vince McMahon's Head

We bound from one metallic object to another, enjoying a complete shift in tone along the way.

It's a simple idea: a helpless Vince McMahon in a hospital bed, thinking he's finally safe, only to be assaulted by a disguised Stone Cold Steve Austin. He rains blows down on Vince's head, his injured ankle, anything within reach.

And then, when the flurry seems to be abating, it happens. Stone Cold reaches out of frame. A big overhand swing. A single shot. An inimitable PANG sound. Vince goes limp and rolls off the bed.

The bedpan shot heard 'round the world.

It was funny then. It's still funny now. WWE goes to the slapstick well far too often, usually with diminishing returns, and sadly, they'll simply never top this moment. It's absolute perfection.
