10 Ideas To Salvage WWE Survivor Series

9. All Heel And Face Teams

One of the biggest gripes this writer has with Survivor Series is the constant tension and dissension among the teams. It seems to be the only story WWE can tell leading into the PPV: How will these teams of adversaries coalesce to win?

For a solution, look no further than the earlier days of Survivor Series, where the teams were crafted on a strict heel/babyface line. Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant’s teams didn’t have tweeners or cross the lines between good guys and bad guys. You knew you were supposed to cheer Hulk’s squad and boo Andre’s bunch. It was as simple as that.

Returning more routinely to this dynamic – with a possible exception here and there – would help reduce the tension and allow the focus to be turned elsewhere (perhaps in concert with another option or two from this list).
