10 Ideas To Salvage WWE Survivor Series

7. Cross-Branded Teams

You could make the argument that finding five faces and heels on a single brand would present a challenge, as would just finding 10 wrestlers to compete in a traditional elimination match, especially with the women.

So why not do something completely different and have cross-branded teams? Allow wrestlers to recruit across brands to put together all-star squads of mixed superstars. The heel/face alignment would be easier to meet, and it would create different dynamics. Old friendships and rivalries could be rekindled briefly through this method, with Seth Rollins joining a team because Murphy or Rey Mysterio joined the other group.

Sure, this would completely do away with the Raw versus SmackDown concept, but considering that it’s literally forgotten days after the PPV and means absolutely nothing beyond Survivor Series, does that really matter?
