It just feels right, doesn't it?

When news first broke of this apparent Impact and New Japan working relationship, one of the top matches at the forefront of fans' minds was The Good Brothers vs. The Guerrillas of Destiny.

The Impact World Tag Team Champions vs. the IWGP Tag Team Champions. The OG Bullet Club tag team vs. the current Bullet Club tag team. Whatever you want to call it, it has to go down sooner rather than later.

Upon leaving WWE, it seemed all but confirmed for Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson to head back to the place that brought them together. Aside from All Elite Wrestling, it just felt right for them to step up as a legitimate threat to Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa's status as the top tandem in New Japan's heavyweight tag division.

G.O.D are primarily where they're currently at because of Gallows and Anderson's 2016 departure from 'The Land of The Rising Sun'. Had they not left for pastures new, there's no telling if Tonga and Loa's success would have been as grand as it has been.

It'll take a while to get there, given 'The Big LG' and 'The Machine Gun's' current involvement with both FinJuice and (sort of) The Young Bucks over in AEW, but rest assured, this one will happen. One day.
