1. Becoming 'Corporate' Kane
In 2013, Kane had received ample time off to film 'See No Evil 2'. This was the sequel to the original horror movie starring Glenn Jacobs, released in 2006. Upon his return, WWE officials made the decision to shake up the Kane character once again. Pledging his loyalty to Stephanie McMahon and The Authority, Kane handed Stephanie his mask. From this point, the Kane persona has taken on a unique character. The character is more different than he's ever been, and has even be redubbed 'Corporate' Kane. Wearing a suit and tie more often than not, Kane is the 'Director Of Operations' for the heel faction. There have been hints over the years that the character would leave The Authority, but that hasn't transpired as of yet. Seth Rollins did attack and berate his bodyguard after Brock Lesnar injured Kane's ankle, but WWE haven't officially said that Kane is out of The Authority. Currently taking a sabbatical away from WWE television, it'll be interesting to see if Kane evolves once more upon he returns. On one hand, it'd made sense for Kane's final WWE run to be under the mask, but that remains to be seen.
