WWE has a Blake Monroe replacement lined up for NXT.

Amidst plentiful rumours that she could be set for a main roster move, it sounds as if WWE already has a replacement in mind should Blake Monroe indeed depart NXT for Raw or SmackDown.

Per Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline, the current plan is for Myka Blackwood to replace Monroe and align with the Vanity Project should the former NXT North American Champion get called up to the main roster.

Lockwood made her on-screen NXT debut this week, where she was positioned as a potential love interest for Vanity Project's Jackson Drake, and she'd leave a bar with all three members of the faction. Drake had been set up on a date by Shiloh Hill as a way to stop him from interfering in the casket match between Blake Monroe and Tatum Paxley. However, Jackson was stood up on that date, and Myka would point out how he'd been duped by an AI chatbot.

WWE LFG fans will be familiar with Myka Lockwood by her real name of Bayley Humphrey, a 24-year-old WWE NIL signee with a background in collegiate acrobatics and tumbling. Also, the powerhouse has an incredibly impressive finisher that's essentially a pumphandle revolving powerslam.

As for Blake Monroe, by all accounts, she chose to start her WWE career in NXT rather than head straight to the main roster, which would indicate the company already viewed her as being ready for Raw or SmackDown when she joined last summer. And with Sol Ruca having now exited NXT ahead of a main roster move, it may well be that Blake is another who'll be making that jump sooner rather than later.
