10 Improvements UFC Has To Make
2. More Public Authority Fugures
As seen in the last entry - and the majority of the ones on this list - Dana White is very much the focal point of all things UFC and pretty much fronts any decision that the company decides to make.
Yet, even though it must feel incredible to see his baby become the juggernaut it is today - with White still being the public authority figure in the company - all that must come with a very high level of pressure.
White has been quite open about the amount of time he dedicates to the promotion - spending hours in the match-making room and flying across continents in order to be present for the biggest events in the company's history - but after decades of being the UFC's mainstay, is it now time to take a step back?
Not completely - White still offers a fantastic incite and delivers no-nonsense interviews whenever he's given the chance - but if someone else were to take up some of the media duties or announce a few of the company's next big decisions, surely it would relieve some of the weight that White has carried (seemingly single-handedly) for too long.
Allowing company men (aka the likes of Daniel Cormier) to take the reigns for a few of these situations would seem odd at first. However, given a bit of time, it could elongate White's career and help him avoid a very real chance of burnout.
