9. Pepe - Chavo Guerrero's Hobby Horse

Frustrated with living in the shadow of his more famous uncle, Eddie, and enduring constant ridicule for his refusal to cheat, Chavo Guerrero finally snapped. The result wasn't a violent murder spree or Chavo spending the next eight weeks sitting in a corner of the arena and rocking back and forth.

No, something much weirder happened: He started riding around on a hobby horse named Pepe. And stranger still, the crowds started going bonkers for it.

There was no rhyme or reason for it, other than Chavo was going crazy in the storyline and real-life Chavo thought it would be funny to ride a stick horse around in the middle of the ring. And then name it.

According to an interview on Talk Is Jericho, Chavo was ready to write the zany act off as a one-time occurrence. But when he showed up the next week sans-Pepe, he noticed a plethora of signs in the audience demanding more Pepe. Fans brought their own stick horses to the arena to get autographed.

And so Pepe had to stay. It wasn't until many months later that the horse finally met his end via a woodchipper, a fate that Chavo probably envisioned every single day after he first made the mistake of riding him down to the ring on a whim.
