10 Incredible Death Defying WWE Leaps

8. The Undertaker's Dive Ended In A Crash Landing At WrestleMania 25

YoutubeYoutubeAdding a suicide dive to the list may not seem right because they happen all the time, but the situation and the person doing it is something that makes me want to include it here. Undertaker started doing the suicide dive in big matches towards the end of 1997. One of the famous early ones was at the September 1997 In Your House "Ground Zero" PPV when he jumped over the top rope onto a bunch of wrestlers at ringside. It's such an impressive move for a near 7 footer to do. At WrestleMania 25, Undertaker did his most famous suicide dive as he attempted to jump onto Shawn Michaels outside the ring. It was a planned spot with Michaels standing right beside a cameraman that was actually Sim Snuka (aka Deuce) that Michaels pulled in front of him to take the bump and basically "catch" Undertaker. Instead of a safe landing, Undertaker went crashing into the ground head first. Snuka should have been standing about two feet ahead so that he could have been in a better position to break his fall. It was one of the scariest moments in Undertaker's career, but thankfully he was able to walk away from it without injury and he went on to have what is arguably the greatest match ever with Michaels that night.
