10 Incredible Death Defying WWE Leaps

7. Jeff Hardy Drives Edge Through A Ladder At WrestleMania 23

WWE.comWWE.comThe Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 23 was a great one as superstars put their body on the line to try to claim the coveted briefcase that held a contract for a future WWE or World Title shot. Two of the men in the match were veterans of ladder matches: Jeff Hardy and Edge. Prior to the show, Hardy said he'd steal the show at WrestleMania and that's what he did. Edge was placed on a ladder that was on the apron as well as the barrier at ringside. There was a ladder set up in the ring by the ropes. Matt Hardy was there to keep Edge on the ladder as Jeff climbed to the top of it. We knew what was coming, but we couldn't believe that Jeff would actually do it either. Going through a table is one thing. Those are breakable. Ladders don't break. They might bend in half, but they won't break. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdx2gXTG8fI Jeff jumped off the ladder, but he didn't do a Swanton Bomb like he usually did. Instead, he gave Edge the biggest leg drop we've ever seen. That was a wise move because if he exposed his back and he missed the spot it could have been extremely painful to the point that he might have suffered a major injury. Both guys were taken out of the match at that point as they gave us a moment we'll never forget.
