10 Incredible Links Between Wrestlers You'd Never Expect

6. Wrestler Ages, Various

Wrestlers used to age where they don't age anymore.

This bizarre phenomenon links together various wrestlers you won't believe, and may have something to do with the fact that WWE hasn't changed its aesthetic or even its core roster much in the last however many years. Think of the differences between the WWF product of 1990 and 1999, and now think of the similarities between the WWE products of 2023 and 2014.

That, and more realistically, certain shifts in the lifestyle of the average modern worker explain everything.

Which wrestlers then and now are the same age?

Dolph Ziggler, still an athletic bumping machine when he wants to be, is 42 years old and looks tremendous. 42 was the age of Hulk Hogan, in 1996, when Vince McMahon deemed him an ancient relic who couldn't possibly keep up with his 'New Generation'.

Darby Allin is 30 - the same age the Big Boss Man was in 1993, when the first chapter of his WWE career came to an end.

MJF, a World champion at 27, a man who has marketed himself as the "Youngest and fastest rising star in the history of professional wrestling", is the same age now as Earthquake was when John Tenta worked his programme with Hulk Hogan.

Kiera Hogan, who is talented if very raw and looks incredibly young, is the same age Arn Anderson was (27) when he joined the Four Horsemen.
