A bit of a stretch to believe that a part time superstar who only turns up when the money is good cares too much about main roster supremacy. Still, if ever there was a time to happily suspend disbelief it’s for this match.

Goldberg should be fired up after months of baiting from Riddle and Riddle for his part shows no signs of contrition. He’s now taken to using the Jackhammer in his matches on NXT. Not as a finisher, or even to set up for a finisher, just in the middle of matches.

This could be a loss for the NXT side with “The Ultimate Bro” not quite as ready for the powerhouse veteran as he thought he was. “Oh, sorry Bro, you thought the Jackhammer was a transitional move? Maybe you just weren’t doing it right.“
