10 Incredible WCW Storylines That Never Got Resolved

8. Lost In Cleveland

In way to escalate the feud between Big Van Vader and Cactus Jack, WCW created a story line where Cactus received a head injury as a result of being power bombed on the concrete floor. Cactus disappeared for a while and cheesy vignettes aired with a fake news reporter trying to get the scoop on where he had gone. Eventually, the reporter found a clean shaven Cactus Jack, however, he was hanging out in the slums of Cleveland with no memory of his past life, believing he was a sailor who had drifted ashore. It was Amnesia, ladies and gentlemen. After several attempts to jog Jack€™s memory, including a plea from his €œwife€ and child, all hope seemed lost. The hardcore legend returned at the conclusion of Clash of Champions 24 and attacked Vader in retaliation for the Amnesia he had caused. In the weeks that followed, Jack revealed that he didn€™t have Amnesia and it was all a ploy to play mind games with Vader. Too bad it didn€™t work. Vader won their Texas Death match at Halloween Havoc 1993, which was the blow off to their feud. Any sane booker would have had Cactus Jack go over in that match. Instead, he ended up looking foolish in story line and in defeat.
