5. Record Eliminations

As with all battle royales, the objective of tossing someone out also is often the most crowd-pleasing aspect. Who doesn’t get excited when a wrestler starts tossing other superstars from the match?

Wrestlers eliminating a bunch of people from a Royal Rumble is a great way to give them some serious notoriety. Even if they don’t win, tossing a handful of cannon fodder can make you a bigger star. As such, eliminations are also the easiest record to track, both in a single Rumble and overall.

Braun Strowman (2018 Greatest Royal Rumble) and Brock Lesnar (2020) hold the record for a single Rumble together, tossing 13 each. Brock’s performance earned him the runaway record for consecutive eliminations. Overall, Kane still holds the record with 46 total eliminations over 20 Rumbles. The next nearest active wrestler is Strowman with 36 across six Rumbles.

For the women, Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair each hold the single Rumble record, tossing eight each in the 2020 Rumble. But it’s Charlotte Flair with the overall record of 15 eliminations in four Rumbles.

We might not see any of these records fall on Saturday, but watch for the superstar who comes in and starts heaving people over the top rope. That’s someone the WWE brass clearly has their eye on and wants you to too.
