Dolph Ziggler has always been one wrestler who hasn't quite managed to break that 'glass ceiling' in WWE. A popular star, Ziggler seems to be someone who will never become a true main event star for any sustained length of time. In February, 2011, he was used as fodder during the ongoing Edge vs. Vickie Guerrero saga. Looking to stick it to her former lover, Vickie stripped Edge of the World Heavyweight Title. The General Manager of Smackdown's main reasoning for this was that the Canadian had used his trademark Spear during a prior match, but she had banned the move. As a result, Guerrero awarded the belt to Dolph Ziggler, who was obviously overjoyed by the decision. On the same night, Teddy Long - who was co-General Manager - handed Edge a rematch against Dolph. Less than 2 hours after he had been given the title, Ziggler was staring at the lights for Edge. The whole exercise seemed ultimately pointless, and achieved little other than making Dolph Ziggler look like a chump.
