8. Jack Swagger (vs. Chris Jericho - Smackdown, 2010)
Normally, WWE like to wait before booking performers to cash in their Money In The Bank privileges. Generally speaking, if the cash in doesn't happen on the same evening a wrestler wins the briefcase, it can be months before they do so. That wasn't the case in 2010, as WWE's creative team rushed to try and create a new star in Jack Swagger. Swagger had emerged as part of the old ECW brand, and really looked like a blue-chip prospect. He had ample size, and had proven to be skillful inside the ring. The main problem dogging him was his lack of mic skills, but the company were obviously willing to sidestep that in hope that the World Heavyweight Title would make him look like a bigger star. Winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXVI, Swagger quickly cashed in his right to a title opportunity. The following week on Smackdown, the then-'All American American' swiftly defeated Chris Jericho to bag the belt. The whole ordeal happened too suddenly, and fans would never really accept Jack Swagger as a top star.
