10 Incredibly-Short Turnarounds Between UFC Fights

2. Chas Skelly (13 Days)

For nearly six years, Chas 'The Scrapper' Skelly held onto the record for the shortest turnaround between UFC fights, with just an astonishing 13-days between fights in 2014.

The first of those two fights for Skelly saw him near-effortlessly choke out Tom Niinimäki in Round 1 of a UFC Fight Night bout on 23 August 2014. Less than two weeks later, Andre 'Touchy' Fili (which can certainly be considered one of the greatest nicknames in UFC history) went down with an injury ahead of his fight with Sean Soriano at another UFC Fight Night event, so an effectively-undamaged Skelly stepped in to fill the void.

So, on 5 September, just 13 days after his easy submission win over Niinimäki, Skelly would earn a unanimous 30-27 victory over Soriano. To fight twice in less than two weeks is crazy enough on its own, but to win both times? That borders on superhuman.

Skelly currently has a record of 18-3 (1 NC) and is still signed to the UFC as of this writing, but has not fought since September of 2019 due to a series of poorly-timed injuries. Because of these injuries, it's unlikely that we'll ever see Skelly fight twice in less than two weeks again, but my goodness, what a miraculous turnaround time this was...
