Magnus is another fine talent who has grown weary of the mounting problems faced by TNA. A former World Champion in the promotion, the Brit is currently a free agent. For years, wrestling fans have theorised that being associated with TNA would hurt the chances of any performer in WWE's eyes. With the potential expansion of NXT, that all changes, if it was even true to begin with. WWE don't see TNA as competition, and likely never really have. By 2016, Magnus will have been gone from the promotion for around 6 months. That's a long enough time for him to feel fresh if he were to invade NXT. In a fair world, the man would be given a shot at the main roster. He certainly has the look and a clear speaking voice, but NXT touring seems more realistic. Magnus has a lot in common with someone like 'King' Barrett, who admittedly is struggling in WWE currently. It may seem lazy to some, but teaming the pair up would be one solution for both. It'd offer Magnus an ideal entry point into the WWE system, and give Barrett something more meaningful to do. NXT should be a breeding ground for people to prove themselves.
