10 Indie Wrestling Acts WWE Must Sign For NXT In 2016

6. Austin Aries

When Samoa Joe squared off with Kevin Owens at the end of NXT Takeover: Unstoppable this past May, it seemed like hell had frozen over because after years of staying away from signing Former TNA talents, WWE had debuted one of TNA€™s biggest names on an NXT Network special. With Joe€™s success in the NXT brand, it opened the door for James Storm to compete in a few match ups on NXT TV but in 2016, this should lead to Austin Aries finally making his way to the WWE. After a long career in TNA, Aries is now at a point in his career where it€™s now or never for him to get into the company and have a shot at a decent run. While Aries isn€™t the biggest guy in the world, he€™s a phenomenal worker and has a great charisma which would make him a compelling interview and character. Having competed with a lot of WWE stars over the years, it would be familiar territory for The Greatest Man That Ever Lived and he€™d finally get the chance to prove himself in front of the rabid NXT crowds worldwide.
