4. McMahon Backed Into A Corner

The boss was shown to be a shadow of his former self who would babel incoherently and walk to the ring looking scared and timid as he was seemingly heading towards retirement. Cue the Raw Vince McMahon €œappreciation night€ to give him a fitting sendoff of sorts. Many WWE superstars gave their opinions on the Chairman with almost all of them being negative. The show was focused on the bad things Vince had done in the past and looked to the wrestlers getting their own back. This was an obvious ploy to get the viewer showing pity on McMahon, a ploy that didn't work. After being booed out of the ring Vince made his way through the back and to his limo. His was visibly concerned with two bystanders that were chuckling at him as he walked by. He got in the limo... BOOM. The limo blew up. WWE ran stories of a federal investigation taking place on their website and stuck by the angle, proclaiming it to be real. What they didn't bank on was a double murder suicide involving one of their employees. Vince had no choice but to come clean while the Benoit investigation was taking place.
