Was it a shoot or was it a work? There are a plethora of different theories about his match that leave its legitimacy up in the air. Jeff Jarrett was due to defend his WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Hollywood Hulk Hogan at BATB 2000. The bell rings to start the match and Jarrett hits the floor, Hogan looks puzzled and Vince Russo is outside talking trash and showing the belt to Hogan, eventually throwing it at him in disgust. Russo would come back to the ring and make Hogan's 'win' void, booking Jarrett v Booker T for the belt with the Harlem Heat man picking up the win. What we thought we saw was some real life political business play out during a live pay per view. We thought we saw one of the biggest names in professional wrestling play his much publicised creative control card and get his way when something else had been agreed backstage.
