Back in 2006, UFC Hall of Famer 'The California Kid' Urijah Faber would end up literally fighting for his life in Bali, Indonesia.

While dancing with some women at a drinking establishment, Faber was challenged by a local ruffian. After he was unable to talk the man down, 'The California Kid' agreed to meet him outside in the parking lot.

The former WEC champ made short work of his opponent and ended up breaking the local's collarbone. Unfortunately, for Faber, the fight was far from over. As soon as he dispatched the first man, another individual struck him in the back of the head with a pair of brass knuckles.

From there, a gang of men, armed with everything from bottles to a shoe hammer, began attacking the UFC star. Like something out of action movie, Faber fought the men in several different nearby locations, while attempting to flee.

After suffering multiple lacerations, Faber managed to fight his way to a taxi cab. The gang made one last attempt to pull the bloody fighter from the cab, but Faber once again managed to fend them off, before the vehicle sped away.

Had Faber not been a professional MMA fighter in his prime, this story could have easily had a very tragic ending.
