'The Man' debuted the night after 'Mania XIX which immediately saw a rivalry with The Rock start. After that, he would feud with Chris Jericho before going into battle with Triple H, challenging The Game for his World Heavyweight Championship. He would capture the big gold belt at Unforgiven 2003 in a career v title match. At Armageddon, Bill lost the title when Triple H pinned him after interference from Evolution and a chokeslam from Kane. He was given the coveted number 30 slot in the 2004 Rumble. He lasted just over five minutes and managed to eliminate Billy Gunn, Charlie Haas and Nunzio. However, he ended up being the 23rd man eliminated from the event after an interference from Brock Lesnar, who wasn't even in the match. Goldberg was all set to hoist The Big Show up for the Jackhammer after decimating everyone in his path, and also killing little Nunzio with a Spear.
