10 Infamous WWE Royal Rumble One Hit Wonders

1. Brock Lesnar - 2003

One Rumble appearance. One Rumble win. Brock's involvement in the main event scene means his only Rumble appearance came during his initial ascension to the top in 2003. Lesnar faced The Big Show in a match on the undercard of the 2003 event where only the winner would be entered into the Royal Rumble. The then Next Big Thing won with consummate ease and earned the number 29 spot. On entry into the main event, Lesnar quite literally threw Matt Hardy over the top rope. Then, the World's Greatest Tag Team double-teamed The Beast but he threw them out too in one devastating sweep. Soon after we were down to the final two as Brock faced his primary rival, The Undertaker. Taker looked to be on course for the win after dropping Lesnar with a Tombstone. However, an angry Batista reentered the ring and caused a distraction, allowing Lesnar to tip The Phenom over the top rope for the win. He would, of course, go on to WrestleMania XIX and win the WWE Championship from Kurt Angle after almost killing himself with 'that' shooting star press.
