Ravishing Rick only appeared in one Rumble match despite working for the company for four years over two spells. Rude came in at number 28 at 1990's Rumble which looked to be an incredibly opportune moment to enter the match. The ring had been cleared by Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior, who then proceeded to brawl with each other. The Barbarian, who entered just before Rude, started to work on the ailing pair. Rude did a Rumble first and ran out before he was scheduled to, looking to seize the moment while confusing the commentators. He and Barbarian tried to hoist Warrior out which allowed The Hulkster to stand up and grab them all from behind. Warrior was the man that tumbled to the floor. Hercules then joined the fray. Hernandez got rid of Barbarian and before he was eliminated by Rude, leaving it a two-on-one when Rude and Mr. Perfect, who arrived in the 'perfect' slot of 30, teamed up against Hogan. Hogan outwitted the pair as Perfect ended up on the apron and pulled the top rope down, causing Rude to fall to the floor and finish third. He only lasted 6:29, but almost made it to the end.
